Japanese Chicken Salad Recipe

This perfect summer salad with robust asian flavors is sure to become a hit for the entire crew! Made with our japanese ginger dressing (recipe below) this hearty salad can double as a main dish.

Japanese Chicken Salad

What You Need

  • 1 tsp TLC Asian Ginger Seasoning
  • 2 roasted chicken breasts cut into large chunks
  • 2 T. chopped cilantro
  • 2 T. shredded carrots
  • 3 T. TLC Japanese Ginger Dressing see link below

How to Make It

  • Roast chicken breasts in an oven with the Asian Ginger Seasoning OR use store bought rotisserie chicken and coat with the seasoning.
  • Cut or shred chicken into medium sized chunks.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Serve cold and enjoy!

Japanese Ginger Dressing

Servings: 2 1/2 cups -10 (1/4 c/) servings per recipe

What You Need

  • 1 c. olive oil
  • ¼ c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. lemon juice
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 T. minced ginger root
  • 1 t. dijon mustard
  • 2 t. honey
  • black pepper to taste

How to Make It

  • In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, mustard, honey and pepper.
  • Add oil in steady stream, whisking constantly.
  • Pour into glass jar and chill until ready to serve.
  • Shake well before serving.
