One day I was reading a box of the usual treats I bought for my precious Ty, and became completely disenchanted. There were ingredients I could not even begin to pronounce in them. I decided to take it upon myself to create him low fat, low sodium, all natural treats that I did not have to feel guilty about giving him.
A couple hours later, I had my first treat. Oatmeal, wheat flour, organic applesauce, and chicken stock. That is it. As such, the Apple and Oatmeal Version was born. I took them to the dog park, and gave them to many dogs, who LOVED them. It was then mentioned to me that I should start to sell them. Hmmm….not a bad idea.
I know that as pet owners, we spoil our dogs, but sometimes with things that are not good for them. So, with my Culinary background and the love of my dog, Ty’s Treats has come to full fruition.
As of right now, there are three versions available. The Apple and Oatmeal and the Peanut Butter, as well as Pumpkin. Please give these to your dog with the knowledge that these are a healthy, delicious, and YUMMY (yes, I have eaten many of them) treat for him. The treats are available in 1 lb bags at approximately $5-6 a pound, and you will be able to choose which flavor you would like, or a combo pack!
